Rob Gronkowski isn’t especially active on Twitter, but he exchanged a few tweets with Wes Welker on Saturday that culminated with a solid zing from Welker.
The exchange began with Welker tweeting a picture of his left knee — the one he injured in Week 17 against the Texans in 2010 — to say how well he’s recovered. Gronk wrote back to tell Welker “you are weak!!!” That’s when Welker broke out the big gun:

So in case you were wondering if the Patriots were paying attention while Gronk was making headlines for dancing shirtless after the Super Bowl, drinking from a beer bong, and saying he’d eff Tim Tebow, that should answer your question.
Looks like somebody needs a refresher about the Patriots’ four rules for dealing with the media (not that Welker can really talk).
