He will most likely be a disaster and that's always entertaining in Oakland. If you think about it, before the Sugar Bowl, Russell was up there on the board, but no one was slurping him yet. Thanks to Notre Dame and their pathetic platoon of defensive backs (they made Troy Smith look like Marino at the Fiesta the year before), Brady Quinn has quite possibly been saved from being taken by the Raiders. I'm not so sure how exited I'd be if my team spent an early pick on Quinn... A lot of pressure comes with taking a QB that early, and taking a guy who busts can set your team back a couple years if not longer (see Carr, David, etc.) Great post.
