Dwyane Wade, Gabrielle Union make guests sign wedding confidentiality agreements
Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union are set to get married in South Florida on Saturday, but don’t expect to hear much about the wedding. Like LeBron James, Michael Jordan and many other high-profile athletes and celebrities, the couple is demanding that guests keep all details of the event private and even making them sign off on it.
TMZ obtained a copy of the confidentiality agreement that D-Wade and Union have asked guests, vendors, caterers and anyone else attending the wedding to sign before being allowed on the premises. Jordan did the same thing with his 2,000-plus guests and staff and LeBron had a top secret phone line for his big day.
There will also be no cell phones or cameras allowed, so don’t expect any live-tweeting or selfies during the ceremony. Guests have been asked to meet at an upscale hotel in South Florida to be transported to an undisclosed venue. Anyone who signs the agreement and fails to cooperate is subject to a hefty cash fine.
While a lot of this stuff may sound insane to “normal” people like us (I know I’m not normal), there really is no other way to protect your privacy with the technology we have at our fingertips on a daily basis.
