Hope Solo nude pictures leaked online again

Hope Solo nude pictures were leaked online again Saturday as part of a second round of hacked celebrity nudes that ended up on the net.

Over Labor Day weekend, photos of multiple women — all of whom were celebrities (e.g. actresses, athletes or models) — were leaked online through an anonymous 4chan message board. Some of the women confirmed the authenticity of the photos, while others either had no comment or denied they were real.

On Saturday morning, naked photos of more celebrities were released online. Many of the women involved in the leak have sports ties.

Solo, a goalie for the US Women’s National soccer team, had what appeared to be hacked photos from her or her husband Jerramy Stevens’ cell phone posted. At least one other partially-naked photo of her made it online during the original hacking.

Leaked photos of Hayden Panettiere, an actress and the girlfriend of boxer Wladimir Klitschko, were posted online. Hacked nude photos of Gabrielle Union, also an actress and the wife of Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade, were posted. Union and Wade later issued a statement saying they want the FBI to investigate.

Celebrities Vanessa Hudgens, Leelee Sobieski, Avril Lavigne, Lake Bell and Kim Kardashian were also reportedly victims of the hacking. Previously, Justin Verlander and Kate Upton were victims of the hacking.

The photos are believed to have come from a private celebrity nude photo ring online. It’s believed the hackers obtain the photos by means of “phishing,” which is a practice of stealing key information such as passwords by posing as a real organization (e.g. with an official-looking email) to trick people.
