St. Louis Rams running back Tre Mason experienced the downside of social media first-hand this week, as a woman apparently exposed him for having two girlfriends at once.
The drama appeared to start when a young lady named Meagan Better called Mason out on Twitter. It seemed like she was responding to Tre posting the photo you see above on Instagram, which shows the former Auburn star with his current girlfriend Natasha.

If we’re understanding this correctly, Mason had no problem admitting that he had a talk with Meagan — who claims she and Tre dated for years — and said he did so because he loves his girlfriend Natasha and no one else. Black Sports Online was able to screenshot the tweet before Mason deleted it.
That’s when Meagan decided to reveal that Mason may have done a little more than just chatting with her.

Uh oh.
For what it’s worth, Mason never seemed to waver. He indicated that all is well in his life even after Meagan posted the incriminating photo, so perhaps he was able to work things out with Natasha.

And once again, we are reminded that social media can be a dangerous weapon if one is not careful. It was only a month ago that another NFL player got torn to shreds on Instagram by a girlfriend who accused him of cheating. You never know when there’s a camera phone pointed in your direction.
