Jerome Boateng spends night with Playboy model before leaving for Euro 2012

Euro 2012 kicks off this Friday. And, as is customary, national soccer teams have been descending upon host countries Poland and Ukraine a few days early to get settled. The German team left Frankfurt for Gdansk on Monday afternoon, but it appears German defender Jerome Boateng wanted to get in some last-minute action with a buxom nudie model in a cheap hotel much earlier in the morning.

According to Dirty Tackle, the Bayern Munich star was spotted early Monday morning in the Mercure Hotel, a €79-a-night (roughly $98) joint near the Berlin airport, with ex-Playboy model Gina-Lisa Lohfink (SFW picture here). Boateng, 23, was reportedly seen at 3 a.m. leaving the former “Germany’s Next Topmodel” contestant’s room. And yet, supposedly nothing happened.

“Jerome wanted to get to know me,” Lohfink said, according to The Sun (link NSFW). “We met in the bar at my hotel around 2 a.m. We went up to my room but we just chatted.”

So, to recap: A German soccer star may or may not have had a late-night romp with a blonde bombshell roughly 340 miles away from where his team was set to leave for the most important international soccer tournament Europe has to offer less than 12 hours later. Yeah, the German coaching staff’s not going to be high-fiving Boateng over this one.

But it’s a good thing Boateng is playing in a tournament where this sort of thing is in some way encouraged.
