Joseph Fauria did ‘N Sync dance for Jimmy Fallon donation

Joseph-Fauria-N-Sync-danceDetroit Lions tight end Joseph Fauria made headlines over the weekend when he busted out an ‘N Sync touchdown dance. The rookie out of UCLA scored the go-ahead touchdown early in the second quarter and followed it up with the dance move from the former boy band’s “Bye, Bye, Bye” music video. As it turns out, he wasn’t only doing it for kicks.

A couple weeks back, Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake brought us a new skit they called the “Evolution of End Zone Dancing.” After it debuted, Fallon offered to donate $10,000 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation in honor of the first NFL player to do the ‘N Sync dance during the game. On Tuesday night’s show, Fallon confirmed that he will be making the donation.

“We were going nuts,” Fallon said. “We all saw it on Twitter. We were going crazy.”

Former ‘N Sync member Joey Fatone also shouted out to Fauria after seeing the end zone dance.

The dance was funny enough in itself. The fact that Fauria did it to send $10,000 to a great cause makes it even better.

Justin Timberlake, Jimmy Fallon show us ‘Evolution of End Zone Dancing’ (Video)

Jimmy-Fallon-Justin-Timberlake-end-zoneTalk show host Jimmy Fallon and music sensation Justin Timberlake have created a number of entertaining videos over the years that take us through the “History of Rap.” On Tuesday night, the duo got together again for a new skit entitled the “Evolution of End Zone Dancing.”

The educational segment included such classics as the Dirty Bird and the robot, with some touchdown celebrations that have yet to be unveiled on the NFL stage like the “I Thought I Just Saw Aaron Hernandez” routine.

Yeah, we’re probably not going to see that one.

Matt Harvey and Jimmy Fallon play awesome joke on New Yorkers (Video)

Matt-Harvey-Jimmy-FallonJimmy Fallon used New York Mets pitcher Matt Harvey to help him take a page out of Jimmy Kimmel’s book earlier this week, and the results were fantastic. In a similar segment to Kimmel’s “Lie Witness News,” Harvey took to the streets of New York to ask Mets fans for their thoughts on Matt Harvey. As you might expect, many of them failed to realize they were answering Harvey’s questions about Harvey.

The reactions weren’t quite as funny as the ones we saw from these Miami Heat fans last month, but they were pretty priceless. People get nervous when cameras are around, which is why many of them didn’t notice the words “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” written on the microphone. We’re glad they didn’t.

Fantastic effort from Harvey, who did a great job of keeping a straight face and messing with people.

Kevin Durant and James Harden refuse to talk about Dwight Howard trade with Jimmy Fallon (Video)

For those of you who haven’t picked up on the pattern by now, the Thunder are not concerned about Dwight Howard being traded to the Lakers. Or, we should say, they are not going to show it even if they are. When the trade went down, Durant and Harden were very clear with reporters about how they felt about it. During their appearance on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” on Monday, they expressed more of the same disinterest.

As you can see, the defending Western Conference champs are going to great lengths to prove they are not intimidated. Everyone knows the additions of Howard and Steve Nash make the Lakers a very dangerous team on paper, but Oklahoma City is still the team to beat. In fact, the trade may even help the Thunder next season. With the spotlight on the Heat and the Lakers, Durant and company could fly under the radar and begin to feel disrespected. A lack of respect helps a talented team more often than not.

Nick Mangold gets his chest waxed on Jimmy Fallon (Video)

Tuesday night on the “Jimmy Fallon Show,” Jimmy decided to play a trivia game called “Wax On, Wax Off” during which you get $100 right for every correct answer you give and a portion of your chest hair waxed off for every incorrect answer. The lucky contestant was Jets offensive lineman Nick Mangold. The categories included such simple topics as “Lithuian Prime Ministers” and “Advanced Particle Physics.” If Nick is some sort of closet genius, he may have had a shot at keeping some of his chest hair. Unfortunately, a random audience member was chosen to answer the questions for him. The results looked painful. If you’ve always wanted to see a 300-pound man get their nipple waxed, be sure to watch Part 2 as well.

Shaq wears pink underwear on Jimmy Fallon to pay off bet (Video)

Shaq made an appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon in October to promote an NBA Jam video game. The two played the game on the show and made a bet. Shaq lost the game and had to wear pink underwear on a two-block walk to the studios. He paid off the bet on Friday, stating that he’s a man of his word. I don’t know about you, but it sure feels like we’ve seen way too much of Shaq in his underwear lately.
