Papke joined LBS in 2015 and is a staff writer based out of the Detroit area, with over 25,000 published posts to his credit. He is a longtime fan of Detroit sports teams and an expert on the Tigers. Prior to Larry Brown Sports, Papke served as managing editor and writer at the Detroit Tigers-centric Walkoff Woodward. A soccer fanatic, Papke has previously co-hosted a podcast about Manchester City.

Salao is a staff writer based in Manila, Philippines. He covers all sports with a strong affinity for the NBA and his favorite team, the Washington Wizards. Though Larry Brown Sports is intended for an adult audience, several guidelines are followed when it comes to all content on the site. Cussing at LBS is kept to a minimum with most strong language being edited out. Nudity and violence is prohibited on the site. The extensive use of CAPS is highly discouraged while proper spelling and grammar are highly encouraged.
The audience is mostly college-educated sports fans with an age range varying from 18-55 mostly. Though most of the content revolves around sports, there are frequent references to the pop culture world which opens up LBS to a broader audience. There are regular commenters who liven up the site and provide interesting discussions on several topics.
LBS welcomes readers to respond to articles by commenting on blog posts. However, there are certain guidelines that must be followed with regard to comments. Personal attacks, threats, name-calling, profanity and racism are among the things that are not tolerated in comments section on LBS posts. LBS editors serve as the moderators for comments and may edit or delete comments at their discretion.
