Alex Bregman and Alex Cora placed a friendly wager ahead of Sunday’s college football game between Miami and LSU.
Prior to being drafted by the Houston Astros, Bregman was a standout player at LSU. Cora, currently the manager of the Boston Red Sox, was a coach on the Houston Astros team that won the World Series in 2017. He also played collegiate baseball the Miami.

Wit the former schools of both facing off, Bregman and Cora decided to place stakes on the game. If Miami wins, Bregman will have to wear a turnover chain. If LSU wins, Cora will have to wear the jersey of former LSU baseball player Warren Morris.
Alex Bregman has a friendly wager w/ Boston manager and former Astros coach Alex Cora. If Cora's U of Miami beats LSU in football, Bregman has to wear a The U turnover chain in BP at Fenway next weekend. If LSU wins, Cora will wear a Warren Morris jersey, for the LSU legend.

Last year, ESPN’s Paul Finebaum had to wear a turnover chain after Miami defeated Notre Dame 41-8. Bregman could soon find himself in the same position.
