Andrew McCutchen perfectly sums up Dodgers-Pirates game
The Dodgers and Pirates played what will likely be one of the more memorable games this season on Wednesday. Afterward, Andrew McCutchen perfectly summed up what took place.
Rich Hill pitched perhaps the game of his life for the Dodgers. He carried a perfect game into the ninth inning, which was broken up on a fielding error by Logan Forsythe on the first batter of the inning. However, Hill was able to make it through the ninth with a no-hitter still intact. Hill came out for the tenth inning and Josh Harrison, the first batter Hill faced, hit a solo home run to left field for the game’s only run to give Pittsburgh the victory. Below is video of the game-winning hit.

Hill went from pitching eight perfect innings to having a chance for a 10-inning no-hitter to ultimately surrendering a walkoff home run. That may go down as the best-pitched loss anyone who watched it will ever see. McCutchen, who was on the winning side, described the game perfectly.
Weird… very weird

That’s about all there is to say.
