Andrew McCutchen performed odd ritual after making out (Video)

Andrew McCutchen is one of baseball’s best players. That said, even the good ones can be a bit quirky from time to time. As we saw during Sunday’s game against the Cardinals, the former National League MVP will try whatever it takes to get rid of the vibes from an unproductive at-bat.

After lining out to Jhonny Peralta in the fourth inning, McCutchen laid on the dugout floor and performed a ritual that would lead you to believe he was trying to exercise some demons from his body. McCutchen doubled his next time up to lead off the Pirates’ half of the sixth inning, so I guess it worked.
