The Milwaukee Brewers officially clinched their division on Wednesday, but one of their key players is still too young to fully partake in the celebrations.

Milwaukee won the NL Central for the third time in the last four seasons with a 5-3 loss by the Chicago Cubs to the Oakland A’s. The Brewers also took care of business in their own regard on Wednesday, defeating the Philadelphia Phillies 2-1 on a Jake Bauers walkoff in the ninth inning.

The champagne came out in the Milwaukee locker room after the game to celebrate the division clincher. But the Brewers had to put something special aside for rookie outfielder Jackson Chourio, who scored the winning run on Wednesday. For Chourio, the Brewers set aside a bunch of non-alcoholic beers, all neatly tucked away inside of a stroller.

Check out the funny picture.

The righty-hitting Chourio is still only 20 years old and will not be of legal drinking age until next March. That explains the special treatment here.

Chourio has been a stud as a rookie, batting .273 with an .801 OPS to go along with 21 home runs, 77 RBIs, and 20 stolen bases in 137 games. Thus, the Brewers really might not have clinched the division this early if not for Chourio’s efforts.

The alcohol will just have to wait until next year’s potential playoff run for Chourio. But it might not actually be all that exciting for Chourio once that day finally gets here, especially if this fellow MLB player’s experience serves as any indication.
