Jordan Hicks is a certified flamethrower and proved that with the way he closed out Sunday’s game.
The St Louis Cardinals closer pitched a scoreless ninth inning to seal the team’s 6-4 win over the New York Mets. He closed the game out with a 104-mph pitch that caught Juan Lagares looking for a strikeout:

According to Fangraphs, the 22-year-old averages 100.2 mph on his fastball, which is slightly down from the 100.5 mph he averaged last year. That seems almost impossible.
For the season, Hicks has 11 strikeouts in nine innings, a 2.00 ERA and five saves. Last year he was clocked at an astounding 105 mph on a pitch!
