
Tyler Wade just about had his first career home run, but Carlos Gomez stood in the way.
Gomez robbed Wade of a homer in the bottom of the sixth inning of Tuesday’s New York Yankees-Tampa Bay Rays game. He timed his jump perfectly to snag a ball that appeared to be heading over the wall.

Not only was it a great play by Gomez, but it was clutch too. It came with the score tied at four and prevented the Yankees from taking a lead in the game.
