Christian Colón and his wife are expecting an addition to their family and, on Sunday, the two found out the gender in the perfect way.
In front of friends and family at Kaufman Stadium, Kayla tossed a baseball into the air, which her husband hit with a bat. The ball exploded into a cloud of pink smoke, indicating a daughter is on the way.

According to MLB.com, only Kayla’s sister was aware of the gender before Colón’s mighty swing.
In addition to finding out he’s going to have a little girl, Christian Colón celebrated his 27th birthday on Saturday, making it a pretty good weekend for the Royals infielder. Congratulations to the happy couple!
