David Ortiz created a memorable moment for a Boston Red Sox who was at Kauffman Stadium to watch his team take on the Kansas City Royals on Thursday night. Prior to the start of the game, a gentleman asked Ortiz if he would mind taking a picture while holding his infant son. Big Papi went above and beyond to fulfill the request.
Ortiz stood holding the baby during the National Anthem with a big smile on his face. He then posed for a picture with the child before returning him to his father.
Last time we talked about Big Papi it was to show you the epic hissy fit he threw when he smashed a dugout phone, so this was a different look for him. I’m sure the child’s father was glad he got the chance to interact with the kind-hearted Papi.
