Greg Holland wants to join contender after Cardinals release
Greg Holland has been a huge bust with the St. Louis Cardinals, but he’s hoping a change of scenery will make a difference.
Holland is expected to be released by the Cardinals on Friday, as MLB.com’s Jon Morosi reported.

The 32-year-old reliever signed for $14 million this season and was a complete bust. He has a 7.92 ERA and 2.24 WHIP in 25 innings this season and also spent time on the DL with a hip injury. Any team that adds him would be taking a big risk.
