The Los Angeles Dodgers’ starting rotation etched its name in postseason lore during the 2025 National League Championship Series (NLCS), dismantling opponents with surgical precision.

Facing the Milwaukee Brewers, Dodgers pitchers combined for a jaw-dropping 0.63 ERA over 28.2 innings, allowing just seven hits and two earned runs while fanning 35 batters.

Dodgers starting pitchers in the NLCS:

– Blake Snell: 8 IP, 1 H, 0 ER, 0 BB, 10 K
– Yoshinobu Yamamoto: 9 IP, 3 H, 1 ER, 1 BB, 7 K
– Tyler Glasnow: 5.2 IP, 3 H, 1 ER, 3 BB, 8 K
– Shohei Ohtani: 6 IP, 2 H, 0 ER, 3 BB, 10 K

Leading the charge was Blake Snell, the two-time Cy Young ace, who tossed eight innings of near-perfection: one hit, zero earned runs, zero walks, and 10 strikeouts. Yoshinobu Yamamoto followed suit, surrendering three hits and one earned run across nine frames, with seven punchouts and a lone walk.

Tyler Glasnow, despite a shorter 5.2-inning outing, limited damage to three hits, one earned run, and three walks while racking up eight Ks. And Shohei Ohtani, moonlighting on the mound, dazzled with six scoreless innings, two hits, three walks, and a career-high 10 strikeouts in the playoffs.

At the plate, Ohtani also mashed three home runs in a series-clinching Game 4 victory.

This quartet’s unhittable arsenal — fueled by elite velocity, pinpoint command, and deceptive breaking balls — propelled the Dodgers to the World Series.

In an era of fragile rotations, LA’s staff redefined October excellence, blending star power with shutdown mastery. Fans and analysts alike hail it as the blueprint for championship pitching.
