Jake Arrieta makes hilarious Twitter comment about his nipple
Jake Arrieta proved he is capable of delivering in a big game on Wednesday night when he pitched a complete game shutout to send the Chicago Cubs to the NLDS. Several hours later, the righthander showed us he also has a tremendous sense of humor.
Early Thursday morning, an admittedly bitter Pittsburgh Pirates fan tweeted about how Arrieta seems to touch his hat and jersey a lot when he pitches. Arrieta provided a perfectly plausible explanation for the behavior.

Arrieta gave up just four hits and struck out 11 in his nine dominant innings. He continued to pitch well even after getting hit by a pitch in the seventh, which led to this benches-clearing brawl.
Now we understand even more why Jake’s wife is such a looker. He must have won her over with his unmatched wit.
