Justin Upton says knee injury is nothing serious
Justin Upton left the Detroit Tigers’ opener against the Chicago White Sox after injuring his left knee in the field, but he says it’s nothing serious.
Upton hurt himself landing while making a catch in the bottom of the sixth inning on Tuesday. He ended up being removed for a pinch hitter in the top of the 7th.
Justin Upton said felt his left knee act up upon landing on the catch he made on Frazier, worsened in dugout. He said it's nothing serious.

Upton has been termed day-to-day with a knee contusion, but he said that the injury is nothing serious.

Upton was 1-for-3 with a run scored and strikeout prior to leaving the game.
