Manager Rocco Baldelli says Twins have best bullpen in league

The Minnesota Twins’ offense may get most of the attention next season, but their manager thinks they won’t be too shabby on the flip side either.

Twins skipper Rocco Baldelli told reporters on Thursday that he believes the team has the best bullpen in baseball, per Michael Rand of The Star Tribune.

While Minnesota may not have the splashiest names in their bullpen, they were already a top-10 unit by ERA last season and went out and got Tyler Clippard this winter while also re-signing Sergio Romo. Their three-headed trio of righty Trevor May, lefty Taylor Rogers, and righty Tyler Duffey all posted sub-3.00 ERAs in 2019 as well.

The Twins may have questions about how all their pieces will fit together next year, but they probably won’t have much to worry about from their relievers.
