
The Boston Red Sox have received their punishment for their illegal Apple Watch usage, but the New York Yankees, who raised the issue, may have wound up with more than they bargained for.
Major League Baseball announced Friday that the Red Sox will receive a fine for their actions — but as part of the investigation, the Yankees were found to have violated policy as well and fined a lesser amount.

In other words, while the allegations the Yankees made were found to be correct, they weren’t completely innocent themselves — but everyone involved gets little more than a slap on the wrist and a stern warning that future offenders may not be so lucky.
