Noah Syndergaard gets haircut for appearance on another TV show
Noah Syndergaard has become known as much for his long, flowing locks as he has for his devastating fastball, and he gave fans a scare on Wednesday when he shared a photo on social media that showed him in a barber’s chair.
Syndergaard shared a photo on Twitter that made it seem like he could be chopping off his hair, noting that fellow Mets starter Jacob deGrom did it at the end of last season.

deGrom used to have long hair like Syndergaard, but he decided to get a haircut a year ago. He then went on to have his best season as a pro, posting a 1.70 ERA in 32 starts. However, Syndergaard quickly clarified that he only made a minor tweak to his infamous hairstyle in anticipation of a television appearance.
Hair: Party on top, business on the sides #Vikings style. On the set of HISTORY’s drama “Vikings” filming an episode for season six. Catch the midseason 5 premiere on Nov. 28 on HISTORY. Look out for “Thorbjorn”-he’s a Badass @HistoryVikings pic.twitter.com/1Q5EXTe64y

This isn’t the first time Syndergaard’s look has landed him a spot on a TV show, so it’s probably a good idea that he’s sticking with it. If deGrom has another season in 2019 like the one he had this year, Syndergaard may think about getting a buzz cut.
