
Pedro Alvarez finally put away the New York Yankees on Friday night with a grand slam in the 14th inning.
Alvarez was up with one out and the bases loaded against Jonathan Holder and went deep to right-center to put Baltimore up 7-3.

The Orioles closed things out with a 1-2-3 inning in the bottom half to win the game, improving to 3-5 on the season.
Alvarez was truly a difference-maker. He entered the game in the 10th as a pinch-hitter and singled. In his next at-bat, he hit the big homer.
