Red Sox legend Kevin Youkilis to throw out first pitch of Game 1
The Boston Red Sox are planning to have a special guest throw out the first pitch of Game 1 of the American League Championship Series.
The Red Sox and Houston Astros open the ALCS on Saturday in Boston. Both teams have had great players wear their respective uniforms over the years. Among the more beloved players to wear a Red Sox uniform was Kevin Youkilis, who will throw out the ceremonial first pitch.

Youkilis spent the first eight seasons of his major league career with Red Sox. During that time, he was named an All-Star three times and finished third in American League MVP Award voting in 2008. Youkilis was also a member of the Boston teams that won the World Series in 2004 and 2007.
There will surely be loud chants of “Yoouuuk!” when Youkilis is announced to the crowd at Fenway Park.
