Rich Hill to miss at least a month with flexor tendon strain
Rich Hill is expected to miss at least a month due to a flexor tendon strain.
Hill exited his start on Wednesday night in the Los Angeles Dodgers’ 9-2 win over the San Francisco Giants after one inning because he felt something while warming up for the second. The Dodgers later said he had left forearm tightness.
A day later, the word is Hill will miss a month due to the strain. He also had a platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injection to promote healing.
Rich Hill said he has a flexor tendon strain in his left arm. He expects it will be 3-4 weeks before he starts a throwing program. So he will be out a while. He received platelet-rich plasma therapy today in an attempt to stimulate healing.
