Seiya Suzuki shows off his leg muscles

Seiya Suzuki may be ready to give Spencer Strider a run for his money in the “quadzilla” department.

Marquee Sports Network shared a video that was captured prior to Wednesday’s game between the Chicago Cubs and Miami Marlins at Wrigley Field in Chicago, Ill. Suzuki was seen wearing short shorts and a T-shirt, and he was doing a pitching motion. What stood out was just how huge Suzuki’s quadriceps were.

“Look at those quads!” somebody could be hearding calling out in the background.

Yes, those are some huge leg muscles.

Suzuki, 30, is listed at 6-foot-0 and 182 pounds. He definitely has a muscular lower half.

Fans, of course, took notice and reacted via social media.

Can he play running back for the bears next season?

Suzuki came over to MLB ahead of the 2022 season after signing a 5-year, $85 million free agent deal with the Cubs. So far he’s proven to be worth the investment. Suzuki has a career .274 average with an .823 OPS. He’s averaged 33 doubles and 25 home runs per 162 games during his career.
