The Los Angeles Dodgers are about to get a major boost to their pitching staff.
According to Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic, Tyler Glasnow is scheduled to make his first start for the Dodgers in over a month in Tuesday’s series opener against the Atlanta Braves at Truist Park in Atlanta, Georgia.
Some updates from Dave Roberts:

– Shohei Ohtani threw 30 pitches, will likely need one more live BP
– Tyler Glasnow starts Tuesday in ATL
– Justin Wrobleski will be a 2-3 inning reliever when he returns in Sept.
– Edwin Díaz will get a “softer landing” when he returns in Sept.
Glasnow has not pitched since a shortened start on May 6 against the Houston Astros, leaving after just an inning due to back pain. Los Angeles later placed him on the 60-day injured list.
The 33-year-old Glasnow struggled early on in his recovery from the injury but he showed he’s ready to give it a go in the big leagues again, especially after his Wednesday start for Triple-A Oklahoma City, pitching 5 1/3 innings and allowing just a run on a hit with a walk issued and six strikeouts against Sugar Land.
With Glasnow returning, the Dodgers are taking a huge step forward toward getting their rotation at 100 percent form.
Although Justin Wrobleski has been placed on the injured list with a forearm injury, the Dodgers are getting closer to getting Shohei Ohtani back to his pitching duties, on top of Glasnow’s looming return to the hill.
Before he landed on the injured list, the former All-Star pitcher Glasnow had a 2.72 ERA and 3-0 record across seven starts in the 2026 MLB regular season.
