Wil Myers may have been the victim of some sibling revenge during Monday’s Home Run Derby at Petco Park.
The San Diego Padres first baseman was the hometown representative participating in the event and made it a family affair by asking his brother, Beau, to be his pitcher. Beau is young player at Appalachian State, but he very clearly needs to work on his throwing accuracy.
At one point during Myers’ quarterfinal round, Will was plunked by Beau:
