Angel Reese showed questionable response to Caitlin Clark incident
Angel Reese’s rivalry with Caitlin Clark appears to be as strong as ever judging by Reese’s reaction to Saturday’s incident.
Clark was knocked down by Chennedy Carter late in the third quarter of the Indiana Fever’s 71-70 win over Carter’s Chicago Sky at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Carter’s hip-check on Clark was a non-basketball play, which is why many were surprised no flagrant foul was called, and why many called out Carter for her actions.
But one person who seemed completely supportive of Carter was her Sky teammate, Reese.
Former LSU star Reese, who had a rivalry with former Iowa star Clark in their college days, came off the Sky bench and cheered on Carter after Clark was knocked down.

Then after the third quarter ended and Carter headed to her team’s bench, Reese put her arm around Carter and had a very warm greeting for her teammate.

Reese can argue that there is no rivalry between her and Clark, but the way she responded to Carter’s actions would lead one to believe otherwise.
Reese had 8 points and 13 rebounds in 30 minutes in her team’s loss.
