Bobby Portis reportedly has interest in signing with Jazz
Bobby Portis has improved his game in each of his first four NBA seasons, and there should be no shortage of interest in him when he becomes a restricted free agent next month. The Washington Wizards will be able to match any offer the big man receives, but does he want them to?
Tony Jones of The Athletic reports that Portis has interest in signing with the Utah Jazz.
Hearing Bobby Portis has significant interest in coming to the Utah Jazz. Portis is a restricted free agent for the Washington Wizards. He’s a power forward/center who is a good perimeter shooter. Eight days until free agency starts

Portis was traded to Washington from the Chicago Bulls at the February deadline last year, and he was very consistent for the Wizards down the stretch. He averaged 14.3 points and 8.6 rebounds per game after the deal, so it would stand to reason that Washington would like to keep him around.
The Wizards are hoping to sign Bradley Beal to a massive extension this offseason, though he may have incentive to turn it down. If he does agree to sign a new deal, Portis may price his way out of Washington.
