Former NBA swingman Bonzi Wells is opening up about a recent health scare.

In a post to his Instagram account on Wednesday, Wells revealed that he suffered a heart attack at age 40 but that he is home now and “feeling good.”

Wells played in the NBA for ten seasons from 1998 to 2008, most notably for the Portland Trail Blazers. He averaged 12.1 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game during that time in the Association. Wells had also recently been playing as a co-captain in Ice Cube’s BIG3 basketball league.
