Boris Diaw’s preferred way of recovering from game certainly isn’t for everybody.
On Saturday, the former NBA player posted a photo of himself on Instagram undergoing cryotherapy, which uses low temperatures as a form of treatment for nerve conditions. How low are the temperatures? Diaw was sitting in a tub that was -163 degrees.
Diaw spent 14 seasons in the NBA, which included a championship with the San Antonio Spurs in 2014. Last summer, Diaw was waived by the Utah Jazz. Since then he has returned to his native France and currently plays for the Levallois Metropolitans in the country’s top professional basketball league.
