Several fans think the Milwaukee Bucks have more to lose than just their first-round series after Sunday’s unfortunate turn of events.
The Indiana Pacers blasted the Bucks 129-103 in Game 4 to take a 3-1 series lead at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wis. In the process, the Bucks also lost Damian Lillard to what’s believed to be a torn Achilles tendon. Lillard went down with a non-contact injury midway through the first quarter and did not return.
With Lillard gone, Giannis Antetokounmpo once again had to do most of the heavy lifting for Milwaukee. The two-time MVP tallied 28 points, 15 rebounds, and 6 assists in a losing effort.
The TNT broadcast showed an exhausted Antetokounmpo sitting on the bench with his team down 20 in the fourth quarter. The Bucks star appeared to be in serious thought.

Some fans began to wonder if the Lillard injury, potentially coupled with a third straight Bucks first-round exit, would push Giannis to consider moving on from Milwaukee. Many asked if Sunday’s loss could have been the Greek Freak’s final home game with the team.
Will this be Giannis' last home game as a Buck?

Could this be Giannis’s last game at home as a Buck? I think it could be. Sucks

I came to Milwaukee to scope out Giannis on his home court… and yikes. We’re thinking last game here as a Buck?? pic.twitter.com/eETzwYt5gc

The Bucks have made it clear that the team would never trade Giannis of their own volition. They would only entertain such trade talks if their prized superstar asks out.
Antetokounmpo has remained completely loyal to the franchise that drafted him for over a decade. But with Lillard possibly out for most, if not all, of next season, Antetokounmpo’s path to contention looks as bleak as its ever been in Milwaukee.
