Carmelo Anthony hasn’t seen Jimmer Fredette play in a while. He also hasn’t checked in on his name, apparently.
Anthony was asked what Fredette would bring to the Knicks with his impending signing, and Anthony had an answer that kind of sums it all up.
Melo asked about Jimmer joining the Knicks and what he can do for them: "To be honest with you, I haven't seen Jimmy play in a long time."

You know, aside from butchering the name, Anthony has a point here. It’s been a year since Jimmer saw any meaningful minutes in an NBA game, having spent virtually all of this season in the D-League.
Fredette will reportedly be joining the Knicks within a day or two, but it’s mostly a depth signing. Don’t expect it to make much of an impact.
