Charles Barkley now calling Lakers by disrespectful name
The Los Angeles Lakers are finishing out a disappointing season, which on Thursday included yet another defeat.
The Lakers lost 132-111 to the intracity rival Clippers. The Lakers are now 27-35, which is only one game ahead of the Pelicans for the 10th spot in the West.
Charles Barkley has been critical of the Lakers for quite some time when speaking on TNT. He’s called them a bunch of old geezers and ripped them for their scapegoat tactics.
Now Chuck has a new move for the team.
Barkley said on Thursday that he will no longer be calling them the “Lakers.” Instead, he referred to them as a bunch of “losers.”

“I am not talking about these damn losers. Between the nitwits at TNT and the nitwits who are at ESPN, we talk about these losers more than any people in the world,” Barkley said.
Chuck said the Lakers will only earn their name back from him if they win a playoff game.
At this point, based on how the Lakers have been looking, that seems unlikely. The Lakers have now lost seven in a row against the Clippers.
