Sacramento Kings guard Darren Collison was arrested on domestic violence charges early Monday morning in Placer County, Calif.
Police received a call from Collison’s wife around 1 am Monday. She was found with visible injuries, according to the police report.
In addition to being arrested on the domestic violence suspicion, Collison was booked on two warrants for driving on a suspended license.
The Kings addressed the arrest with a statement: “The Sacramento Kings condemn violence of any kind. We are gathering additional information and once all facts are known we will take appropriate steps.”
This story comes as a serious surprise and disappointment for LBS. Collison always seemed to be such a respectable guy at UCLA.
