Daryl Morey will go ‘Temecula’ on anyone who doesn’t think James Harden is MVP
Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry dominated the NBA MVP voting back in May, and deservedly so. He received 100 first place votes, which was 75 more than second-place finisher James Harden.
Not surprisingly, Houston Rockets general manager Daryl Morey believes the runner-up got the shaft. And anyone who doesn’t agree can feel free to meet him in Temecula.

If you don’t get the Temecula reference, you can catch up on the joke here.
Morey has always been vocal in defending Harden, particularly when people were relentlessly dogging on the 25-year-old for his lack of effort on defense. But Curry deserved to win MVP, and he proved it throughout the playoffs and in the NBA Finals. There’s always next year for Harden.
