Now that Kevin Durant has signed with the Golden State Warriors, the Cleveland Cavaliers have to answer by bringing in Dwyane Wade, right? The rumors are already flying around on Twitter.
Flight tracking information has become popular fuel for speculation in free agency over the past few years, and a tweet from a private jet company got the wheels turning for Cavs fans on Monday.
Happy 4th! @cavsdan @KingJames @DwyaneWade. Enjoy!

Shortly after that tweet was sent, a private jet was seen on FlightAware.com traveling from Miami to Cleveland. D-Wade had to have been on it, right?!
Here's a private jet that took off from MIA shortly after @LuxJetGroup's tweet. Headed for Cleveland. IS WADE ON IT? pic.twitter.com/UiiLc7yDZl

It doesn’t seem likely. As his Snapchat account showed, Wade was in Ibiza over the holiday weekend. Though, that didn’t stop one person from trying to determine if it is possible for Wade to get from Ibiza to Florida to Cleveland in about 10 hours or so.
Ok I texted my pilot buddy about it. He says: pic.twitter.com/fuXReZxW1k

Does any of this remind you of the situation with Cavs owner Dan Gilbert’s plane back in 2014? For what it’s worth, the DEFCON speculation then ended up being warranted.
We all know Wade and LeBron James are best buddies. We also know that D-Wade is getting older and the Heat are still willing to pay him quite handsomely. However, there have been reports that Wade is frustrated with Miami and could actually be considering leaving.
As it stands, no one believes any team has a shot at beating the Warriors next season. A reunion between Wade and LeBron could get the defending champions a step closer.
