Dion Waiters expected to receive buyout or be released by Grizzlies
Dion Waiters’ career with the Memphis Grizzlies is expected to be as productive as Andre Iguodala’s.
Waiters is expected to receive a buyout or be released by the Grizzlies, Yahoo’s Chris B. Haynes reported on Thursday.

Waiters was included in the Miami Heat’s trade with Memphis for Iguodala.
Miami received Iguodala, Jae Crowder and Solomon Hill from Memphis, while the Grizzlies received Justise Winslow, James Johnson, and Waiters to make the salaries match.
Waiters had only played in three games for the Heat and was suspended multiple times. There’s no reason for Memphis to want him around the young team, possibly disrupting their chemistry.
