Steph Curry and Draymond Green were two of the top players for the Warriors in their Game 6 win over the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday night, so they received the honor of speaking with the media at the podium following the contest. But Green wasn’t about to let the moment pass without making sure one of his unsung teammates got their proper recognition.
Prefacing his comments by saying he hadn’t been asked the question so he would ask it of himself, Green went on to praise role player Festus Ezili for his impact on the team. He noted how Ezili was critical in setting some big screens to free up his teammates on shots. Keep in mind that Ezili was credited with playing exactly two minutes in the game.
