Eric Gordon agrees to 4-year, $75.6 million contract extension with Rockets

Eric Gordon

The Houston Rockets have Eric Gordon under contract with them for the next five seasons.

Gordon and the Rockets agreed to a four-year, $75.6 million contract extension, the Houston Chronicle’s Jonathan Feigen reported Friday night. The four-year extension begins in the 2020-21 season after Gordon’s current contract expires, meaning Gordon will make around $90 million over the next five seasons.

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski called it a three-year extension because the final season is not guaranteed.

The 30-year-old guard has been with the Rockets the past three seasons. He has averaged 16.8 points per game during his career with the Rockets on 36.4 percent shooting from three-point range. He was the 2016-17 NBA Sixth Man of the Year.
