George Hill: Gordon Hayward’s free agent decision will factor into mine
A crucial summer awaits the Utah Jazz after their Round 2 sweep at the hands of the Golden State Warriors, and the stakes very well may be all or nothing.
Speaking with reporters at his exit interview on Tuesday, Jazz point guard George Hill said that teammate Gordon Hayward’s free agent decision this offseason will factor into his as well, per Jody Genessy of the Deseret News.
George Hill said Gordon Hayward's decision will factor into his decision: "He’s like my little brother now. … His heart is here in Utah."

Hill is an unrestricted free agent this summer, and Hayward can also become one if he declines his $16.7 million player option for next season, as expected.
While Hayward has already been mentioned in connection with other teams, Jazz fans are doing all they can to convince him to stay. It turns out Hill may just be part of the re-signing package if they are indeed successful in doing so.
