Giannis Antetokounmpo found himself mad online this week.
The Milwaukee Bucks star Antetokounmpo just got done playing for his native Greece at this year’s EuroBasket tournament. Antetokounmpo and Greece lost in the semifinal round to Turkey but did manage to defeat Finland in the third-place game to take home the bronze medal (marking their best finish at EuroBasket since 2009).
On Sunday, Antetokounmpo went live on Instagram to celebrate Greece’s bronze win. But he found himself being spammed in the chat by Turkey fans. Those fans trolled him by taking over his stream with a flood of comments posting emojis of the Turkish flag. That led to an angry reaction from Antetokounmpo, who briefly lost his cool.
“Hey, take the f–king Turkish flag out of here!” he said. “Take it out of here!”
Here is the video (but obviously watch out for the bad language).

For context, Turkey defeated Greece by a blowout final score of 94-68 in the semifinal round. After the game, Houston Rockets star Alperen Sengun, who plays for Turkey, dissed Antetokounmpo in a postgame press conference. That then led to a fiery response from Antetokounmpo at his own press conference.
In the end, Greece was able to overcome that embarrassing loss to successfully make their way onto the EuroBasket podium. But getting trolled by Turkey fans clearly struck a nerve with Antetokounmpo, who dropped an F-bomb in response.
