Gilbert Arenas took to social media on Tuesday to share some thoughts on the water crisis taking place in Flint, Mich., and his take probably won’t surprise you. What might come as a shock is that Arenas has since deactivated his Instagram account.
Arenas seemed to be his usual unapologetic self before deleting his posts. The Big Lead provided some screenshots:
The contamination in drinking water has left thousands of Flint residents with serious health problems and may have cost several others their lives. We know Arenas acts like a moron, but that was excessive even for him.
Arenas recently shared some incredibly sexist views on the WNBA, and he later decided to get even more offensive about it instead of apologizing. Deleting his account was probably a good choice, though we doubt Gil will be able to stay away from social media for too long.
