Gilbert Arenas shares incredibly sexist thoughts on WNBA
Gilbert Arenas has not appeared in an NBA game in three years, but the former Washington Wizards star manages to keep himself relevant by sharing incredibly idiotic thoughts on social media.
His opinion on the WNBA is certainly no exception.
On Tuesday, Arenas shared a video on Instagram that features two women playing 1-on-1 in their underwear. Gil thinks the WNBA should operate that way.
“NOW this is what america was hoping for when they announced the #WNBA back in 1996,” he wrote. “Not a bunch of chicks running around looking like, cast members from #orangeisthenewblack…dont get me wrong, they have few #cutiepies but theres a whole alotta #beanpies running around hahahahahaha if #skylardiggins came out like this,I dont care if she missed every layup..imma buy season tickets and I dont even know where the fuck #tulsa is hahahaha #2016newwnbaoutfitPLS.
Arenas even acknowledged that he was being sexist, but he doesn’t care.
“And if u think this is sexist,9 times out of 10 u the ugly one and we didnt pay to come see u play anyway #donkeykong …smdh #thiswillbeawesome #soldouteverywhere.”
You can see the video below, for context of course:
Are we surprised? Not at all. This is par for the course for Arenas, who has also been known to crack jokes about national anthems and get into Instagram fights. We’ve come to expect it.
