The Grand Rapids Drive have confirmed via a statement that G League player Zeke Upshaw has died after collapsing during Saturday’s game.
Via Jewel Upshaw, Zeke’s mother, the player passed at 11:16 a.m. on Monday.

Reports on Saturday indicated that Upshaw had gone into cardiac arrest and was in critical condition, and doctors simply could not save him.
Upshaw was only 26 years old. He had been averaging 8.5 points and 2.3 rebounds in 41 games this season.
