Gregg Popovich on Tony Parker’s knee injury ‘it’s not good’
The San Antonio Spurs could be facing a nightmare situation.
Tony Parker had to be carried off the court after suffering a knee injury with just under nine minutes remaining in Game 2 of the Spurs’ second-round playoff series with the Rockets on Wednesday night.
Parker penetrated into the paint and attempted a floater that missed when he landed awkwardly and went down.

After the game, Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich gave his early prognosis.

Parker had 18 points at the time of his injury. His Spurs won the game 121-96 to even the series at 1-1.
Parker will undergo an MRI on Thursday. Game 3 of the series will be Friday night in Houston.
