Harrison Barnes trolled Stephen Curry after Davidson lost to North Carolina

Stephen Curry and the Warriors improved to 22-0 on Sunday. Curry’s favorite NFL team, the Panthers, remained perfect as well behind five touchdown passes from Cam Newton. The college last year’s NBA MVP went to lost on Sunday though and teammate Harrison Barnes was quick to remind Curry of that.

On Sunday evening, an understandably happy Curry took to his Twitter account to celebrate the Panthers improving to 12-0 thanks to a 41-38 victory over the Saints as well has give Cam Newton his endorsement for MVP.

So. Did the Panhers win? Yep. Cam show why he is an MVP? Yep. 12-0? Yep. #KeepPounding Yep

The following day, Barnes took the opportunity to remind Curry not all of his teams weren’t winners on Sunday. Barnes spent his college days in Chapel Hill, playing for North Carolina while Curry spent his collegiate days at Davidson. The two schools met on Sunday with the Tar Heels coming out on top by a final score of 98-65, bringing to an end a perfect start to the season by Davidson. So, naturally, Barnes responded to the above tweet from Curry asking how the Wildcats did.

And Davidson…?? ? https://t.co/fM9ijOhed2

Leave it to Barnes to burst Curry’s bubble, huh? Curry’s old team may longer be undefeated, but his current team still is and it doesn’t look as though a loss will be coming anytime soon the way they are playing.
