Jared Dudley trolls former team Suns after defeating them

Sunday’s win over the Phoenix Suns was especially sweet for Jared Dudley.
Dudley and the Brooklyn Nets defeated the Suns, his old team, at the Barclays Center by the final of 111-103. Coupled with a 104-82 victory over the Suns in Phoenix last month, Brooklyn clinched a season series sweep with the win.
After the game, the veteran forward took an opportunity to troll the Suns, who traded him to the Nets over the summer along with a protected second-round pick in exchange for big man Darrell Arthur. Dudley referenced the “two Ws” and shaded Phoenix for dealing him for “a player they didn’t even want,” per Brian Lewis of the New York Post.

Arthur never even played in a single game for the Suns — he was waived before the season began, less than three months after the trade. As for Dudley, he has appeared in all 35 games for Brooklyn this season and went for eight points and four assists on Sunday to help secure the win.
The 33-year-old journeyman Dudley also had some less-than-flattering things to say about another of his ex-teams in the past. In any case though, sticking it to the team that just traded you has to be a darn good feeling.
